Works of the Students
The students’ team at Bannari Amman Institute of Technology to contrive something useful for the people who are in need, they have invented and created two exceptional projects “Mi Amigo – The Patient Monitoring Sysṭem” and “Hazardous Gases Detector for Industries”.
The Pulverizers team’s patient monitoring system made it possible for the elderly people, and people with mental illness to expand their life span and to lead a happy life in this beautiful world.
By automatically monitoring basic parameters like heart rate, temperature and many more which are related to health, The Mi Amigo sends alerts to respective caretakers/doctors by using the Internet of Things.
The BITians Hazardous Gases Detector is framed to detect the hazardous gas and to take precautions for the gases exceeded in industries.
It helps the industrial workers, the concerned authority to monitor the level of hazardous gases. The alert message would be sent to the concerned authority when the limit exceeds.
The students believe that their inventions would be life-saving gadgets for the society and by this creation, it’s possible to prevent and solve the major issues in the society. They are beyond doubt that their projects would be a great boon to society.
The girls’ team thanked for the physical and financial support by BIT and their Electronic Product Development Lab faculties at BIT for their untiring support.
“ It was such a great experience for us in presenting our project in IEEE. By presenting it to the juries and clearing their queries was a great experience and it’s useful for our future works. We got some more inputs to add up and improve our project. The competitors of our track were from different countries and their projects gave a tough competition for us. By participating in the event we came to know about many new technologies and new ideas. Moreover, IEEE motivated us to participate in technical events.” – by The Team
