Kaattalazhar Kovil Aruvi
This place is located near Shenbagathoppu, which lies near the Western Ghats. This falls situated near Kattalazhar kovil. In a week, only two days’ permission is provided to visit this falls and the temple especially on Saturday and Sunday. This fall is located 13 km away from Srivilliputhur. We can visit this fall in any season owing to all time water availability.
Shasta Kovil Aruvi
This waterfall is located in the interior corridors of the forest, we should get special permission from the forest officer to get to these waterfalls. A special vehicle is arranged to reach this falls as the region falls in the Tiger reserve zone. The Shasta temple is 3000 years old temple. This place is situated 10kms from Rajapalayam and 13 km away from Seithur.
Pullaveli Aruvi
This place is situated near Dindigul, located towards Kodaikanal. So this place rich in nature and beauty. This place has a farmhouse and resorts to stay and enjoy the beauty of pullaveli waterfalls. This place is situated 20kms from Dindigul. Lord Murugan temple is situated and home to few old tribes.
Ayyanar Aruvi
This waterfall is not known to everyone except for the local people, but it is an amazing place to visit and enjoy the beauty of nature. This is situated 10kms from Rajapalayam in the continuation of Western Ghats. People visit this place only occasionally during the festival season. There is no crowd in this area, one can visit this place and also free from disturbances.
Anaivari muttal Aruvi
This waterfall located under the kalvarayan mountain Ghats. There are two waterfalls, the first waterfall is so safe as all family members, including kids and old people can safely take a bath. While the other waterfall is not so safe because it is located in a high place, that could be reached through trekking. This falls is situated 10kms from Athur by-pass and also can be reached 50kms from Salem. This falls can also be called as kutralam of Salem. This place can be visited only in a particular season (September to February).
Periyar Aruvi
This is located above the Kalvarayan hills. It is the seasonal waterfall along the months of September and November. There is no water during the season of summer. This waterfall is so safe to enjoy, and also has the place to change the dress. It is situated in the Perambalur district.
Megam Aruvi
This also located above the Kalvarayan hills. Those two falls located 34 km away from Kallairichi.
