The 14th edition of Dataquest T-School Survey based on the findings of PACE framework has been released for the year 2019.
The ranking of the institutes was done separately for Govt. and Private.
Score: It was derived by calculating the weighted average of scores on the following broad parameters.
Parameters | Weights in % |
Placement | 40 |
Academic Environment | 30 |

The weights were pre-determined by CMR based on the experience of conducting such study for the last 13 years.
This assignment of weights ensures that the T Schools reorient themselves closer to the industry.
In the southern region, the top T-School list is dominated by privately owned colleges and universities. 6 out of the top 10 institutions are owned by private entities.
The southern T-Schools have a countrywide reputation and many students across the country prefer to earn their professional education in the southern states of India. Among the top 10 T-Schools in the country, 5 are from this region.
