Students mind was totally filled with overflowing memories of their college life. The place was entirely surrounded by delegates and turf of positive vibes all around. Students were pretty excited waiting for the time to receive their graduation honour.
The ceremony started at 10.00 AM sharp in the BIT Auditorium and was presided over by our distinguished and esteemed chairman Thiru S V Balasubramaniam. He is a noble-minded gentleman who wishes to provide a sound education with a holistic learning experience of life. He aims to teach students to learn, not just to study. His ultimate goal is to empower the new knowledge era and to eradicate pessimistic conflagration. His first word to the graduates was congratulations, you have done it excellently and so you deserve to celebrate today.
Graduation mark is the end of one journey and simultaneously beginning of the new vital journey of life. New beginnings in life are full of possibilities and for the BIT students, even impossibilities are possible opportunities. He also highlighted a few areas which are useful for students to further their endeavours. He also encouraged all the students to embrace entrepreneurship because he wanted all the students of BIT to be employers rather than being employees. He believes each and every student who goes out of BIT campus would be a better citizen and contribute to the betterment of the country.
Our chairman believes wordings of Anthony De Mello,“ There are two educations one that teaches how to make living and the other how to live”. By the end of the chairman’s speech, students hearts were filled with a fire of their own vision.

He talked about various innovative labs in our BIT like Hackathon, Robotics, Virtual Reality so on ………. And he advised students to work at labs during summer vacation.
He shared a few words of significance and hope that would guide the future of students. The first word that he uttered is PREPARED. He said that he has been fortunate in having worked with thousands of engineers and it is highly significant to be regarded as the engineer. He added that as a new graduate, students started their careers with an advantage, not only because of their preparation at BIT but also because of the optimistic perception of the quality of that preparation. He urged students to take full opportunities to fulfil their own dreams and those of our society.
The second word that came to his mind is the OPPORTUNITY. He said that rapid change in technology would afford you many opportunities in the engineering discipline. In fact, he was somewhat envious of the number of opportunities that would be open to the students as they enter and move through their career. He also added that since he graduated he had been enjoying every minute of challenges in his own career and he wishes that he would do it all again.
The third word that he uttered was TEAM. The team is a visionary word of life that is the main key to an organization and its people. He focussed TEAM and started with the first letter T that stands for Thinking strategically, E stands for Empowering employees, A stands for Acting Responsively and M stands for Making Success Happen.
He concluded with one last piece of advice — Make sure that you do not have just only one major set of success in yourself in life. Define and Enjoy even little success along the way. Please never forget that walking on the road of success is much more fun than reaching the destination of success. He wished everyone to be happy and spread the same and also have the courage to meet life’s many challenges. His last words to the students were Failure is not a problem but not learning from the failure is the actual problem. All the best. Jai Hind!
The chief guest was the high-minded and benevolent person who refused to accept the memento that is made up of plastic and metal to save the environment instead he asked us to plant a sapling and honour him. He requested everyone to save our nature and be eco-friendly.
Madam Chairman of Sri Krishna Group of Institutions, Coimbatore, Mrs Malarvizhi added warmth to the ceremony with her presence.
Then it was finally a great time for our students to make their way across the long dais, shake hands with Prof Anil d Sahasrabudhe and officially graduate surrounded by applause. Students ingenuously have taken the oath and paid tribute to our nation by chanting National Anthem. Students have met their student support advisors who encouraged them to study and they thanked them with wholeheartedly for their sincere support.

Graduation day was then brought to a close with beautiful photos taken all over our BIT premises especially selfies when the sun was shining down. The dark shade of dusk dispersed rapidly still the light of knowledge glowing within students was outwarding dazzlingly.
