Don’t be wacko, stop tobacco!
#WorldNoTobaccoDay, #Tobacco, a new world plant, was used and brought by the local peoples all over the world and tobacco and tobacco products quickly spread worldwide. The Cultivation of tobacco is simple and applied in products such as Chewing tobacco, Cigarettes, Cigars, Creamy snuff, Gutka, Snuff, Dipping tobacco, and etc. (1) The manufactured cigarette has been a powerful form of tobacco use in 1977 for only a century.
During that century, referred to as “The Cigarette Century”, there was an active rise in tobacco consumption to a peak in the 1970s and then a drop that has continued over the last three decades. (2) All kind of tobacco carries the recreational drug called Nicotine, most of the countries banned the display of tobacco products.
Technology over tobacco products:
Technology has produced a new tool for smoking cessation and a new attraction to become a smoker. A process to ingest chemicals that, in some instances, becomes a replacement for smoking instead of a tool in its cessation. A less dangerous way to use nicotine that has its own harms. A technology that sidesteps the years of attempts to make smoking uncool by making it cool once again.
#E-cigarettes have been nearly for over 30 years, but have recently been developed as a means to help people stop smoking. The intention was to adopt e-cigarettes as a less dangerous way to fill the smoking craving while enabling a phased shift to quit altogether. (3)
Leading countries using tobacco:
#Tobacco production in the world developed as demand for tobacco products continually grown. There are millions of tobacco users global and the cigarette which is popular in culture is practiced in every country in the world. (4) China is the largest Tobacco producing country with a yield of 3,148,547 m/t with 42.3% of tobacco in 2019. Brazil and India are the next largest producers with the output of 850,673 m/t with 11.4% of the world total and 850,673 m/t with 11.4% respectively. (5)

Rise and fall over the world:
Tobacco increases the risk of #lung cancer, which is the foremost cause of cancer death in both men and women and is one of the active cancers to treat. The tobacco disease is one of the biggest public health menaces the world has eternally faced, killing more than 8 million people a year. More than 7 million of those ends are the result of direct usage of tobacco while the World Health Organization (WHO) predicts that each year tobacco effects about 6 million deaths (about 10% of all deaths) with 600,000 of these occurring in non-smokers due to second-hand smoke. (9)
At the same time, it is estimated that more than 4 million families rely on tobacco for their living, either as tobacco farmers, cigarette retailers or cigarette retailers. Around the peak of global tobacco production, 20 million rural households were producing tobacco on 2.1 million hectares of land over the worldwide. (10) Some local governments actively support development in the tobacco industry as a boost to the regional economy. In each and every township of our country, the tobacco industry has produced 5.1 billion and is a strong supporting impoverished locals. (11)
Methods to avoid usage of tobacco products:
The most powerful way to reduce #tobacco use is to increase the cost of tobacco through tax increases and assure that the improvements are reflected in prices. Higher prices control youth from starting cigarette smoking and help current smokers to quit. (12).
There are more harmful effects due to #tobacco in one or another way. It takes away the life of many people and the person who died early withhold their families of income, increase the cost of healthcare and stop economic development. Not only it rises the economic rate of the country but also affects the people. The government can help the farmers in the tobacco field by giving support in means of another form of the plantation. NGO’s can create awareness about the practice of tobacco and the government can take necessary steps to avoid the usage of tobacco.
