Why you should stay in BIT hostels at least once?
The early morning rush…the packed toilets…the banging of doors…the midnight birthday celebrations…the late night gossips…the stupid fights…the oh!not again type of food..dancing your heart out on any occasion..these and many more little things together form the small beads of a Necklace (The Hostel Life). It might be the first time you were on your own. Responsible for your own acts. Your own vigil.
A place where nightmares are made of, a reflection of what the real world should be like and a place where barriers are broken, life lessons learnt and lifelong friends are made.
Despite the conclusive meaning, hostel life is pretty damn good. One thing is for sure – Life in a hostel is sure better than life in the ‘REAL’ world.

Every phase in life is a learning experience by itself and I realised this when I got into BIT hostel. When I came to BIT to study I was keen to live in the hostel, after spending 4 years of my life there I realised how important it is for a person to live in our college hostel and how much one can gain living there. You are allowed to go about exploring numerous fields that you have never set out before, in a new place among new people. You get to take up numerous open doors that you can’t take being at home.

Living in the BIT hostel I learnt to be independent and make my own decisions. You’ll find all sorts of amazing people here who won’t let you feel homesick. A family outside your genetic family. Its a good learning experience inside the BIT campus, b’coz you get an opportunity to face life, people and situations all on your own which prepares you to face life ahead in a more mature and better way. From my experience, this is what a person can learn living in the hostels of BIT.
