There is plastic in drinking water and as well as in inhaling air, Do you believe that?

Plastic the sixth element of nature

  • There is plastic every where and the average number of plastic particles is around 10 per water bottle.
  • The five basic elements (earth, water, fire, air, and space) which make the earth into remains its equilibrium state is an out-dated concept, after considering the pollution caused by plastics. According to the current trends, the sixth basic element of the earth is plastics.
  • Plastics are the most common material of recent times, which gives unbelievable benefits to us in our day-to-day life. Also, it is called, one of the most dangerous ingredients which cause a direct impact on the ecological system of our world.
  • The journey of our superhero started in 1869; the initial screenplay is scripted by a researcher Wesley Hyatt. After his aggressive victories on the economic development of the earth that is always into the improvement progression, the same superhero becomes a supervillain now.

Initially, People thought that this superhero is here for taking the person’s life into the next level and that also happened, due to:

  • Usage Duration
  • Easiest Production methods
  • Less space and density
  • No Methane forming at decomposing
  • Chemical stability during transportation
  • Managing the plastic waste is the easiest one
  • High energy density
  • Reasonable price

Later people understood that “Each and every coin has its both the sides due to main handicaps of plastics:

  • Made from non-renewable resources
  • Pollution
  • Recycling ability
  • Decomposing ability

THE MAIN 10 UNKNOWN FACES OF PLASTICS POLLUTION:

  1. The problem with the supervillain starts from here:

DO YOU BELIEVE THAT THE OCEANS ARE COMPLETELY COVERED WITH PLASTIC AS SOON AS?

  • Marine organisms are affected by Plastic pollution, which directly affects the health of the human via the food chain
  • It greatly affects the sunlight travel into the deep ocean, which creates a larger temperature difference (phytoplankton effect)
  • The plastics in the ocean directly affects the ecosystem
  1. Are you drinking the water in a plastic bottle? – This point is for you:

MICRO PLASTICS IN BOTTLED WATER: MICRO PLASTICS – SMALL PLASTICS LESS THAN FIVE MILLIMETRES.

  • From the survey on contamination of water, by American research, journalism organization about the pollution by microplastics in drinking water around the globe, that 80% of the 159 samples are contaminated by microplastics.
  • But the average number of particles is around 10 per water bottle which can be under the safety norms (due to the opening of the bottle cap friction).
  • Anyway, if you are ready to take one drop of poison per day, which is not an instantaneous hazard, yes, you can drink your daily water in your plastic water bottle.
  • Now ask yourself a question: Are taking the water or microplastics?
  1. THE ESCAPE RATE OF PLASTICS FROM THE OCEAN IS 136,000 TONS PER EVERY YEAR
  • The research article published on the topic of “Examination of the ocean as a source for atmospheric microplastics” states that the wind transports the 1000 tons of minute plastic elements which will be settled on the land.
  1. DO YOU BELIEVE THAT HEREAFTER THE RAIN DROPLETS WILL HAVE MICRO PLASTICS? YES “More than 1000 tons of microplastic elements are from the skies every year in the form of rain”

  • The microplastics are on the rampage into the air by the high atomization with the moisture content from the seawater.
  • Small drops of water that may comprise microplastics are formed as the cloud and plastic particles are finally in the clouds which are carried away by the wind.

  1. IT’S RAINING MICRO PLASTICS, EVERYWHERE AND EVERY DAY

  • In the mountains of the French Pyrenees, far from civilization, it was examined how many microplastics fall out of the air onto the ground every day.
  • The models were engaged and measured for a period of five-month. On average 249 microplastics pieces originate per square meter per day, 73 microplastics pieces of film, and 44 fibers.

  1. LONDON HAS PEAK MEASURED ABSORPTION OF MICRO PLASTICS IN THE AIR:
  • MICRO PLASTICS IN THE AIR: An aggregate number of studies analyze the existence of microplastics in the atmospheric air which shows that it can be effortlessly transportable at a distance of 95 kilometers through the air.
  • Extraordinary absorption of microplastics dust leads to all sorts of health complaints. The study records that global initiatives are to be engaged to diminish the microplastics in the air.
  1. FROM MICRO TO NANO:

  • The disintegration of plastic has led to ever smaller pieces (Micro to Nanosize) which can be done naturally on the atmospheric conditions due to the friction, UV radiation caused by sunlight.
  • The massive mainstream of these microplastics (92%) are fibers from artificial clothing and floor coverings in the form of fine dust. Inhalation of fine dust can lead to health complaints. The high percentage of fibers measured in London are noteworthy.

  1. HOW HARMFUL THE INHALATION OF MICRO PLASTICS IS?

  • Around 16% of the plastic formed yearly around the world comprises textile fibers. In current times, fabrication has grown-up by 6% every year and microplastics of 60 million tons per year.
  • Artificial clothing is answerable for boundless quantities of microfibers, which can also be found in drinking water.
  • These microfibers plastics are not only outside the buildings, but they can also be found inside buildings and also on the floors in terms of dust microfibers plastics.
  • An investigation shows that we probably consume 11 microplastics per hour. The presence of microplastics in the human lungs causes cancer.
  • Inquiry showed that microfibers plastics might stick in the lungs, particularly in people with lung disease. These microfibers plastics fail to go for the sudden degradation or bioreaction when it is inside the lungs, but they can cause inflammation.
  • The Microfibers plastics contamination for a long time in the lung tissues causes cancer, asthma, and other health problems like reducing lung capacity.
  1. MICRO PLASTIC CONTAMINATION OVER WASHING AND USAGE OF CLOTHES:

Are you using a Fabric Conditioner?

  • Microplastics are added to the clothes and water from the fabric conditioners which cause contamination of water and air.
  • Microplastics from synthetic clothes contribute the maximum up to 35% of the plastic particles polluting our oceans.
  • For the one time of our laundry, an average of 9 million microfibers ends up in the wastewater treatment plants that cannot filter them.
  • And just by wearing synthetic clothes, plastic fibers are repeatedly being released in the air.
  1. WHAT I CAN DO FOR THE REDUCTION OF PLASTIC POLLUTION?

  • As a common man, there are only two best possibilities to contribute to the reduction of the pollution of the earth due to the plastic.
  • The first one is, I have to avoid the usage of the plastics as much as available
  • The second one is the way of disposing of plastics without polluting the environment.
