The month of November

The month of November makes me feel that life is passing more quickly. In an effort to slow it down, I try to fill the hours more meaningfully.

November is the eleventh and intermediate month of the year in the Julian & Gregorian calendars, the fourth and last of four months to have a lengths of 30 days, and the fifth and last of five months to have a length of less than 31 days. November was the ninth month of the ancient Roman calendars.

November is a tricky month, at least in the Northern hemisphere. This month, like all others in the Julian & Gregorian calendars, gets its name from the ancient Romans. November comes from the Latin “novem”, which means “nine”, as it was the ninth month until January and February were added to the calendar. It is the perfect balance of fall and winter. People get to break out their cozy sweaters, perfect topknot and eat pumpkin flavored everything. This month contains a lot of awareness days, special holidays and wacky days.

People born from November 1 to November 22 are members of the “Scorpio” sign. A Scorpio can be identified by their success driven and those born from November 23 to November 30 are the members of “Sagittarius” Zodiac sign.
