In the last centuries, the means we use public transport was changed from the horseback riding to the extensive use of bicycles. Around the turn of the 20th century, bicycles overcame crowding in inner-city projects by allowing workers to change from more spacious dwellings in the areas. They also decreased dependence on horses. Bicycles permitted people to travel for leisure into the country.
Many major discoveries have dramatically modified the bicycle’s form and focus over the years. Earlier designs had two wheels, but no access to steering and even needed a running start.
