In this post, we are going to see about most incredible planets.  There are many amazing planets in space other than earth. The Sun family, comprises of many surprises in space. We are going to see some planets which are really astounding in nature.

Before going to the post, let us get to know the term called a light-year.  The Light year is the distance travelled  by light in one earth year at a speed of 300000 km/s.

The specialty of this planet is, it is made up of Diamond. We know the gold cost is high these days, compared to this, Diamond also is one of the precious ones among all gems.  The distance from the earth to this planet is upto 48 light-years. The Diamond planet is twice as bigger as the earth. This planet looks like it covers the water and gives a blue color. But that is not true, the planet does not consist of water, the blue color is a color that comes from the reflected part of the light from the diamond inside the planet.

Gliese 436b

This planet is made up of ice. We all know that planet Pluto is also made up of ice, but the temperature of the planet Gliese 436b is very high when compared to the Pluto. We all wonder how ice inside the planet has not melted in this temperature?This is an interesting fact about this planet. Why because, even though the ice gets melted, that melted part of the ice reaches the core of the planet due to high gravitational force and again it is converted into ice . This is an amazing process that takes place on this planet. The distance from the earth to this planet is upto 33 light-years.

The specialty of this planet is, it is made up of Glass(silicon molecules) molecules. The rainfall in this planet is full of glass molecules. Some glass molecules rotate around this planet. The speed of the glass molecules rotating in this planet is 4000km/hr. The temperature of this planet is 2000⁰C. The specialty of the planet is, even though the temperature is extremely high, the ice never melts.

Gliese 1214b

This place has no surface, which is the specialty of this planet. This planet’s color is blue and made up of water. Inside the water, it forms a ice layer; the ice inside this layered surface does not melt. The travel distance from earth is 48 light-years.

Kepler 430b

This planet is eligible for sustaining human life. This can be measured as the Earth Similarity Index by the research scientist. An index value 0 denotes, the planet is unfit for human life.  An index value of  1  suggests human life can be sustained. The ESI value for this planet is 0.88 that makes it eligible for living things. The distance between the earth and the planet is 470 light-years.
