One of the Great Achievements by BITians – The Man of Action !!

There are always new, grander challenges to confront, and a true winner will embrace each one!!

As a true winner, our BITians team from the BIT Manufacturing and Fabrication lab participated and won first prizes in Tractor Design Competition Hosted by SAEINDIA Southern Section in SRM University from 22nd AUG 2019 to 24th AUG 2019. 

Around 32 teams from different regions participated in the grand event with their vehicle. The three-day event had held different vehicle tests like, 

• Static test, 
• Brake test, 
• Maneuverability test, 
• Durability test, &, many such more

based on which vehicle performance was assessed. 

The BITians team rocked in all these tests and bagged first prize in durability test and third prize in Maneuverability test with a cash prize of Rs 25,000 and Rs 10,000 respectively as well as attained a considerable position in overall performance in the first attempt itself.

The tractor Design Competition event was graced by the presence of the chief guest  Mr.S.Sriraman, Sr.Vice President R&D, Tractors and Farm Equipment Ltd. 

It is a great privilege for our Bannari Amman Institute of Technology, the winners have proved again that our learning process is so visible to the students.
