Israeli spacecraft puts gear to the Moon
“This project will take the aerospace industry into inner space”.
The moon is recognizable territory to NASA and to a handful of other space agencies from around the globe, but not so much to the private sector. On the other side, that could all alter as soon as next year. An Israeli non-profit organization designated spaceIL and a company known as Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI) are waited to work together to put an unnamed spacecraft on the lunar surface by February 13th, 2019. It would be not only the first time that a privately funded spacecraft reaches the lunar surface, but U.S, Russia and China are the only countries to send a spacecraft to the lunar surface to date, it would be the first time for Israel as a nation.
Morris Khan, the spaceIL president said that it is a astounding project and when the rocket is launched into space, they will all remember where they were when Israel landed on the moon. The state owned Israel Aerospace Industry announced that the landing craft will ship in February to Florida, launched by a spaceX Falcon rocket launch, the robotic lander will then commerce its month long voyage to the moon. When the spacecraft landed on the moon, it will perform various tasks. The first task will be to weed an Israeli flag into the moon’s soil to show the nation’s presence.
The capsule in the shape of DVD contains pictures of the Israeli public, informative drawings by Israeli children and other works of national memorabilia, which includes stories of Holocaust survivors. In future, when voyage to the moon become as common as trans- Atlantic travel, the children will be able to understand the lives of their Israeli progenitors through this clippings on the moon.
