BITians won prizes in National Level Technical Symposium (CAD Modeling)
National level technical symposium, Trefraketen 2K19 is commenced on 23rd of January 2019. It is the platform where the eccentricities meet the entanglement, knowledge meets passion, perception meets reality and inspiration meet action. The objective of the symposium is to bring the young budding engineering graduates together to present their findings and discuss future trends, directions and new challenges in the Aeronautical and Aviation field. This symposium aims to intensify the information exchange of their ideas in theoretical research and practical developments in the field of Aeronautical and Mechanical Engineering.
“The pivotal is not the will to win… everybody has that.
It is the will to strengthen to win that is important.”
BITs MPC team members Aswinraj Y and Mohamed Salim of 3rd year Mechanical Engineering students won 1st place and 2nd place in CAD Modeling – National Level Technical Symposium (TREFRAKETEN 2K19) conducted by Sri Ramakrishna Engineering College.

Computer-aided design (CAD) is a computer technology that designs a product and documents of the design’s process. CAD may promote the manufacturing process by transferring detailed diagrams of a product’s materials, processes, tolerances and dimensions with specific conventions for the product in question. It can be used to produce either 2 D or 3 D diagrams, which can then when rotated to be viewed from any angle, even from the inside looking out. A special printer or plotter is usually required for printing professional design translation. CAD systems exist today for all of the major computer podium, including Windows, Linux, Unix and Mac OS X.
BIT congratulates the team for all success and future endeavors.
“The secret to winning is constant, consistent management.”
